Cary-Grove High School opened in 1961 and serves students from Cary, Fox River Grove, Oakwood Hills, and Barrington, and is located approximately 45 miles northwest of Chicago.

Cary-Grove High School consistently ranks among the top high schools nationally and in Illinois, and offers students a comprehensive 9-12 grade education with more than 200 courses to choose from.

In athletics, the Cary-Grove Trojans compete in the Valley Division of the Fox Valley Conference, offering students the chance to be part of a strong tradition of teamwork and school pride. Beyond sports, students can explore their interests through a vibrant performing and fine arts program; our musicals and Fall Follies are community favorites and often sell out each year. With more than 40 clubs and activities available, there are plenty of ways for every student to get involved, connect, and make the most of their high school experience.
