Athletics

Cary-Grove High School athletics play a powerful role in shaping a well-rounded student experience, supporting both academic success and mental well-being. Through participation in sports and extracurricular activities, students build healthy habits, strong support systems, and resilience that carry into the classroom and beyond. Our program emphasizes balance, connection, and personal growth, helping students strengthen their sense of belonging, enhance focus and confidence, and develop lifelong skills through meaningful involvement in athletics.

Admission to Athletic Events

District 155 uses GoFan for digital ticketing for all athletic events. You can purchase tickets by downloading the “GoFan'' app or visiting GoFan.co. All major credit cards are accepted, along with Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Cary-Grove students with a current student ID can attend the following home events for free: football, volleyball, boys' and girls' basketball, and wrestling. Costs for IHSA tournament events may differ, and no passes can be accepted for such events.

Fans are encouraged to buy tickets online prior to arriving at the facility. At the gate, you can open your tickets via email or your GoFan account. You can select all tickets to be validated or just the tickets that you want to use. You can also share tickets with friends or family through text or email.

Cary-Grove High School partners with Mercyhealth Sports Medicine to provide an athletic trainer who will evaluate and treat student athletes. The appointed athletic trainer will be available at all home competitions and will travel with the varsity football team to away games.

The designated athletic trainer will cover most on-site practices unless coaches have not communicated times or schedule changes in a timely fashion. The athletic trainer will be physically present at the highest-risk event on-site unless called to another site by a coach or administrator. Coaches are responsible for calling the athletic trainer when necessary, and the athletic trainer will respond accordingly.
